The Enterprise Gateway products support direct access to your business systems and enterprise applications. The support of enterprise applications is available in different levels of licenses that add additional functionality with each level, allowing you to access incrementally more advanced features. The table below indicates the Enterprise Gateway features and the license that enables the feature.

The three Enterprise Gateway licenses are:

  • Enterprise
  • Enterprise Pro
  • Enterprise Advanced.

When the information for Enterprise Gateway licenses are displayed by the Workbench -> Administration -> Licenses tab, the individual licenses may be listed differently, such as "Enterprise Connections" and "Enterprise Connections 2". Each of the individual licenses will list its features in the Features column of the Licenses tab.

Release Status of Enterprise transports

Enterprise transports are categorized as Released and Limited Availability. This status reflects the maturity of the feature and level of testing that has been completed on the transport. Below are definitions of the two categories:

Released

To qualify as a released transport, it must be extensively tested and then continually tested throughout the product lifecycle. Testing includes all supported platforms and specific business application versions where applicable. As it pertains to support, any problems found using one of the transports listed as Released are considered to be fully covered under the support program.

Limited AvailabilityMany transports have been created on behalf of our customers, and those transports can benefit you as well. These transports have been well tested, however, the scope of that testing has been limited to a select number of platforms and or specific customer scenarios. The testing is to ensure the transports in this category are functional, and meet the requirements for the specific customer, however, some functions supported by a particular enterprise application may not be included in the available transport.
As it pertains to support, transports listed under Limited Availability are not covered by the standard support agreement, and fixes or improvements to these transports are available through an independent support agreement or based upon works-for-hire contracts.
